Hartshead Moor Cricket Club

Hartshead Moor Cricket Club play at Highmoor Lane, Lower Wyke. They joined the Bradford League in 1963 and have only won 3 sliverware. Highmoor Lane have had many oversea players such as Raj Venkatraman, Shahid Mahboob, Shish Hattangadi, Jacob Martin, Azam Khan and Naeem Khan. Hartshead Moor haven't won a sliverware since 1996.

Windhill Cricket Club

Windhill Cricket Club play at Busy Lane, Shipley. They joined the Bradford League in 1910 and have won 15 silverware. Windhill also produced a number of world class cricket players including Tony Clarkson who is one a world class cricket umpire. Others include Paul Wiseman, Vijay Hariharan, Mark Paynter, David Lovell, Amol Muzumder and current New Zealand batsman Lou Vincent. In 1992, Windhill were the best team in the league due to their strong financial situation.

Spen Victoria Cricket Club

Spen Victoria Cricket Club play at Spen Lane, Cleckheaton. Spen Victoria joined the Bradford League in 1931. They are known for signing young oversea talents and developing them into world class cricketer. Some of the young oversea talents include Tosh Arothe, Iqbal Qasim, Mansoon Akhtar, Vinod Kambli, Wasim Gaffer, Rohan Gavaskar, Lalchand Rajputt. Shaheed Butt, Jimmy Sangani, Abdul Jabbar and Seraj Bahutoul.

Idle Cricket Club

Idle Cricket Club play at Cavendish Road, Idle. There has been many notable cricketer produced by Idle Cricket Clun including the England Legend, Sir Jack Hobbs. In the 1990's, Idle have had a good form, having to have won the Division One title 6 times, Division Two title 3 times and the Priestley Cup 6 times. Today, however, they haven't won a sliverware since 1999.

Bowling Old Lane Cricket Club

Bowling Old Lane Cricket Club play at Birch Lane, West Bowling. They made a incredible impact when they joined the Bradford League in 1915 where in the first season they won the doubles. The club has done well to produce young world class cricketer such as Darren Glough. Bowling Old Lane signed a youngster, Yousug Youhana, who quickly developed into a world class cricketer and is a key player in the Pakistan National team.

Bradford & Bingley Cricket Club

Bradford & Bingley play at Wagon Lane, Bingley. They joined the JCT600 Bradford League in 1910. They started off in 1910 with a good start winning the Division One title in 1912. They are one of the teams that is recognised for producing outstanding young players including Gareth Batty who had played for his country, England.

Manningham Mills Cricket Club

Manningham Mills Cricket Club play at Scotchman Road which lies in the centre of the Heaton Village. The team played in the Bradford League until1945. From 1945 t0 1996, they played in the Bradford Central League. In 1996, the rejoined the Bradford League. They haven't won a single sliverware since rejoining the Bradford League.

Gomersal Cricket Club

Gomersal Cricket Club play at Oxford Road, Cleckheaton. Gomersal joined the Bradford League in 2000 and have won only 4 cups. They have recently refurbished their clubhouse by spending £100,000 on it which reflects their financial status.


Undercliffe Cricket Club

Undercliffe Cricket Club play at Intake Road, Undercliffe. Undercliffe are one of the 3 teams to have played in the Bradford League since it was created in 1903. They have produced high quality players and produced some excellent cricket since they have played in the Bradford League in 1903 which is highlighted by the record 69 cups they have won since 1903.

Great Horton Cricket Club

Great Horton Cricket Club play at Ewart Street, Great Horton. Great Horton are the founders of the Bradford Cricket League and is one of the 3 teams to have played in the league since it started. They started the league in good form, winning 7 cups in 7 years. Today, however, they have gone on for 94 years without a sliverware.

Bankfoot Cricket Club

Bankfoot Cricket Club play at Wickets Close, off Cleckheaton Road, Osdal. They orginally played at the foot of Wibsey Bank. Bankfoot are one of the three teams who have maintained in the JCT600 Bradford League since it started 100 years ago. The team haven't won a trophy since 1998.


Saltaire Cricket Club

Saltaire Cricket Club play at Roberts Park, Saltaire. The club was founded in 1869 just 16 years after the famous Saltaire Mills was opened. In the early and mid 1900's, Saltaire were winning trophies and cups as they producecd high class players. Today, however, they have failed to produce any high class players so therefore they have not won anything for nearly 12 years.

East Bierly Cricket Club

East Bierly Cricket Club have been in the Bradford League for many years. They have won a large number of trohpies and have produced a batch of high class players who have played for their countries. Some of the players are Jack Birkenshaw, Nick Cook, Les Taylor, Anthony McGrath and Gavin Hamilton who played for England and Edwin St Hill Roy Gilchrist and all rounder Collis King who have played for West Indies.

Cleckheaton Cricket Club

Cleckheaton Cricket Club play at Moorend, Cleckheaton. They have won the one cup in the past 9 years which is the Bradford Second Teams Champions Cup which was in 2007.

Woodlands CC

Woodlands Cricket Club play at Albert Terrance which is in Oakenshaw. They are one of the most successful team to play in the Bradford Cricket League having to won 17 cups in 9 years including the dramatic final day in which Woodlands won by 1 wicket to win the 2005 campaign.

JCT600 Bradford Cricket League

The JCT600 Bradford League is a cricket league which is made up of 15 teams from Bradford, West Yorkshire. It is the highest cricket league in Bradford.
